EGYPT. Alexandria. Trajan, 98-117. Drachm (Bronze, 34 mm, 25.61 g, 12 h), RY 12 = 108/9. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΝЄΡ ΤΡΑΙΑ[N CЄB ΓЄΡM ΔΑΚΙΚ] Laureate and draped bust of Trajan to right. Rev. L IΒ Trajan driving biga pulled by centaurs to right, raising his right hand and holding scepter in his left, each centaur holding Nike in his hand. Dattari (Savio) 734 var. (differing obverse legend and bust type). Emmett 464.12. K&G 27.169. RPC III 4298.1 var. (differing obverse legend and bust type). Extremely rare. Minor roughness, otherwise, good fine.
